This winter season, de Grisogono offers an exclusive edition of skis produced by Rossignol Racing Department. A product that perfectly embodies the values supported by the Geneva-based luxury brand by combining know-how and technology to reach precision and performance. Bringing the thrill of high speed and unbelievably precise and sharp turns on ski slopes, the skis are available in a limited-edition of 50 pieces only sold in de Grisogono boutiques.
Entirely hand-crafted by Rossignols’ specialized workers in the Moirans competition workshop in Isère, France, the skis’ construction is directly derived from the competition skis used by Rossignol champions. The only difference from the World Cup edition ones is a lighter construction in order to facilitate its use, while nonetheless maintaining exceptional steering, unparalleled precision and enormous grip.
As a giant slalom machine, the Skis incorporate the finest technologies developed by the Rossignol Racing department engineers. The side-cut also stems from Rossignol racing skis, with a 13-metre radius and a 157 cm length for women, and a 17-metre radius and 172 cm length for men. The sole of these skis is the same used on Rossignol competition skis in order to ensure maximal slide and enhanced abrasion resistance. Sign of exclusive differentiation, every detail of these beautiful blades is delivered with elegance and style and features a custom made metal diamond-shaped plaque engraved with the two brands’ logos, set with approximately 2 carats of black diamonds and individually numbered. To complete each individual snow experience, de Grisogono and Rossignol have developed a unique set of accessories including goggles and helmets.
The privileged skis’ owners will join an exclusive club of de Grisogono skiers – only numbered at 50 people and are invited to enjoy a very personal and intangible experience by attending one of the World Cup Skiing events. A circuit whose calendar is primarily travelling around some of the best ski resorts in the Alps in Europe, places where de Grisogono is also well established thanks to its winter boutiques.

Louis Moinet UAE Falcon

— The Ateliers Louis Moinet have developed a unique timepiece in platinum for the first Dubai Watch Week.

The first edition of the Dubai Watch Week deserves to be hailed in style. Louis Moinet has chosen to be one of the very first exhibitors – and to underscore the significance of the event, the Ateliers have developed a unique timepiece made from platinum: the UAE Falcon.
The falcon is of major importance in both the history and the culture of the United Arab Emirates. Its name means “purebred bird” in Arabic, and it forms an integral part of the daily life of Emiratis – not least because it features on all their banknotes.
The same bird of prey also takes centre stage in this cheap replica watches, sitting majestically atop the tourbillon, grasping the hours and minutes hands between its claws. In the 47mm case, an original Louis Moinet manual movement beats at a rhythm of 21,600 vibrations per hour, and boasts a guaranteed three-day power reserve.

The dial of the UAE Falcon is emblazoned with the four iconic colours of the United Arab Emirates flag: black, symbolizing the country’s wealth of oil reserves; white, for its neutrality; green, for its rich potential; and red, symbolizing the unity of the State.

Audemars Piguet A feminine exception

— For 2015, the new Audemars Piguet Millenary collection celebrates 20 years of this unique oval women’s watch design.

Launched exactly 20 years ago, the watch is an exception in the field of ladies’ watches. In addition to its original aesthetic, a generous oval shape that beautifully molds the curves of the wrist, it is a cleverly structured technical watch. To celebrate its anniversary, it welcomes a new hand-wound movement specifically developed for it that adopts the shape of the case and reveals its beating heart, the balance-wheel through a left-hand aperture in the collection’s signature offset display. The Millenary 2015 comes in three versions: two adorned with 116 diamonds on the bezel and lugs (white or pink gold) and one very precious one set with 438 diamonds on the case (white gold) and 136 on the main dial.

Montblanc Some enchanted evening

— Montblanc adds new timepieces to its Bohème Collection and extends this feminine and elegant collection.

Perfectly mastered watchmaking design codes, rigorous shapes and volumes, a resolutely func- tional side to its nature... and then a sudden in- vitation to dream and wander. The Bohème Day & Night Red Gold and the Bohème Moongarden Blue by Montblanc perfectly express the thoroughly independent character of this collection. The heart of a complex mechanism with pure, stringent lines conceals a powerfully disturbing sense of free-spirited lyricism. Witness the delicate sunburst guilloché motif featuring such a regular structure that is slashed open to reveal a celestial display. And whereas the first of these models with its day/night indication is still relatively demure, the second draws us into a lunar garden pervaded by a sense of occult romance. By specifically spelling out the name of the full moon for each month, its unique complication carries us back to ancient times when this heavenly body set the cadence of human life. Sensuality, elegance, refinement: while these beauties are endowed with numerous qualities, their true soul lies in their ability to make us dream. They embody the magical paradox of revealing time while whisking us off to a place where it no longer exists.

36mm Harry Winston Premier Precious Butterfly Automatic

— Harry Winston Watches combines two ancestral skills: horology and feather art.

A House such as Harry Winston radiates excellence and authenticity in everything it has been undertaking since 1932, blazing its own unique trail in the history of High Jewelry and Haute Horlogerie – from sparkling diamonds on the red carpet to the saga of the Opus models in the world of fine watchmaking collectors and artistic crafts applied to watchmaking. Standout innovative creativity has always been the inspirational guiding force behind the work accomplished by the development teams, as was the case when introducing the art of plumasserie on the surprising eponymous models of the Premier collection featuring dials adorned with bird feathers.
© Harry Winston
Driven by the same avant-garde spirit, Harry Winston has developed an entirely original technique for harvesting the natural pigments from butterfly wings and applying them to a metal dial plate. Three years of research have culminated in this exceptional result, creating exceptional tableaux the size of a watch dial while reflecting the infinite beauty of nature. Just as with feathers, the poetic paradox of this complex technique lies in transposing the ephemeral into eternity while preserving its intrinsic qualities. The extreme fragility of butterfly wings flutters away once immortalized on the dial after the ultra-meticulous harvesting of tiny scales filled with extraordinary pigments from the “Agrias Claudina Lugens” variety. The spectacular iridescence and the intensity of the colors are maintained, while the light playing across the watch as it changes direction on the wrist even creates a sense of movement. While the pigment colors thus appear to be modified, they are in fact stabilized and do not deteriorate. Each model is thus as unique as butterfly wings themselves, even though each of the four models is distinguished by a dedicated motif from a butterfly species (“Adelpha Lara” and “Chrysiridia Madagascariensis” being the other two). Reflecting the inimitable refinement of Harry Winston refinement, the satin straps match the dial colors.

© Harry Winston
Beneath the kaleidoscopic dial, the theme of motion continues with a self-winding Manufacture movement whose precision is enhanced by a silicon balance-spring such as very few brands are capable of producing. The decoration visible through the sapphire crystal caseback is more traditional than on the front of the Premier Precious Butterfly and includes circular Côtes de Genève, circular graining and rhodium plating. Rarity now has a face… and wings.
Case : 18K rose gold (or white, depending on the model), 57 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 2.32 carats), sapphire caseback, water-resistant to 30m.
Diameter: 36mm.
Movement: mechanical self-winding (Caliber HW2008, 72h power reserve), flat silicon balance-spring, circular Côtes de Genève motif, circular graining and rhodium plating.
Functions: hours, minutes.
Dial: butterfly wing marquetry.
Strap: beige (or black, brown or burgundy according to the model) technical satin strap, 18K rose (or white) gold ardillon buckle set with 17 brilliant-cut diamonds (0.15cts).

Swiss Watches Kerbedanz The straight story

— There is a great deal of mystery surrounding Kerbedanz. So, to get the straight story, I went directly to the horse's mouth, so to speak, and talked with Kalust Zorik, director and chief marketing officer for Kerbedanz.

What is Kerbedanz? Is it a brand? A store?
Kerbedanz is a brand, but at the same time it’s the name of our president. Kerbedanz was founded five years ago. For the last two years, we have already manufactured and delivered 200 watches. Out of this, 180 were unique pieces and 160 were tourbillons. We have our own workshop in Neuchatel.
Who are you customers?
Our customers are MIPs, most important personalities. As our name means leader/precursor, our customers are leaders and precursors in their domains. These people look for more sophisticated, not seen pieces. We work directly with the MIP, due to our network. At BaselWorld 2016, we are going to start working with collection pieces, very limited. Our collections are limited to 5, 14 and 41 pieces. These series are designed to reach other MIPs who will come to us to create unique pieces.
The Koï timepiece pays tribute to the emblematic figure of the famous fish Koi, one of the vegetarian sub-species of carp, which has become a powerful symbol in the Far Eastern cultures. The watch is limited to 14 pieces. © Kerbedanz
How long does it take to create custom pieces?
Normally, it takes between one month and six months to create a custom piece. We manufacture one piece at a time. We even manufacture the cases ourselves. The design is done by us, and all the decoration and finishing, all the crafts are done internally. We have 30 people in our workshop.
What about the movement?
The movement is designed by us, then manufactured to our design by Technotime or Concepto, but the decoration is done by ourselves.
Where are you sold?
We have retailers. We are in La Serlas in Zurich, in St. Gallen. We are in Moscow and we have agents in several other countries, with access to these MIPs. We are in discussions with a number of other retailers around the world.
What is your mission?
Giving sense to beauty. The beauty for us is the traditional Swiss watchmaking beauty. We are doing our watches as well as the biggest names. We cannot say we are better, but we are not worse. This is the beauty. To the beauty, we add the sense, which is taken through symbols, allegory, myths and legends, cultures and civilizations. For every watch in Kerbedanz, we have a symbolist who writes a book on the meaning and sense that this watch is communicating. We are giving each timepiece another dimension. The watch is a kind of medium that is transmitting these values.
What is the price range?
The Vert collection is our entry level, which is around 36,000 chf, and the highest model is 500,000 chf. The average price is between 150,000 chf and 250,000 chf.
The time indicated on VERT is derived from “Vartama-way-track” meaning "something rotating or returning to its original position."
     © Kerbedanz
Can you tell us more about Sappheiros?
First of all, Sappheiros is a sapphire tourbillon, you can see through it and see everything. There is very minimalist decoration on the watch with diamonds and sapphires.
What did you do with Yvan Arpa?
A couple of years ago, we did a piece unique for a customer who was in love with Led Zeppelin. When we sat down with Yvan, we decided to do something with him on Led Zeppelin, and we did the dial and he did everything else. The dial was designed and manufactured in-house by us.
It must be nice to really get to know your client and translate his/her wishes?
We appreciate meeting with the end customers. We have nine presidents or prime ministers who are our MIPs. Like an artist, we did a portfolio to showcase what we have done. We are also artists, and when you create something with the customer, it’s a huge pleasure, because the customer is also putting his values on the concept, and we are translating his vision into his timepiece. We have four designers in our team, to meet the demand. We did a project for a client called “Twins.” In the Mesoamerican culture, twins were always fighting the gods and normally they died, but once at the end they won, and one twin became the moon and the other became the sun. The customer loved this so much, he ordered 20 of them.
What are the main challenges facing your brand?
The biggest challenge for Kerbedanz is to access more MIPs. These people don’t go into stores, they don’t do research, they go by word of mouth, and they need to be referred to us. Reaching them is our priority and our challenge.

Lead by Adolfo Cambiaso, La Dolfina came up against Ellerstina, just as they did a year ago in the same final on the very same field. Both teams displayed great determination, but the desire for victory driving Pablo and his team enabled them to win the final 13-12 in the eighth chukker.

Fashion Lady Swiss watches For Sale

— Animal skins and marshmallow colors, rock studs and velvet materials, red and green, lame and sequins… that’s what we’ll be wearing this winter. From the podiums of the great couturiers to the wrists of fashion addicts, la mode is undergoing a chic metamorphosis. Watch out for essentials !

 The tomboy spirit
Chanel draws on masculine clothing and its watchmaking corollary to blur boundaries. We were already more than happy to wear boyfriend jeans, XXL sweaters, a trendy tux or a man’s shirt. This time the Boy.Friend watch is pushing the style combo right the way through to the wrist. An octagonal shape, generous dimensions, strong lines and highly contemporary sobriety outline the contours of this elegant watch offered in beige gold or white gold, with or without diamonds, in two sizes. To extend an androgynous look or lend a disruptive touch to a sensual aura, Boy.Friend embodies that which is feminine by drawing on masculine inspiration. There’s no longer any point in stealing your man’s possessions!

Graphic geometry
Black, white, contrasts, straight lines, and shapes which echo each other in perfect symmetry… Between futurist aesthetics and graphic reminiscences of geometry classes delivered at school, clothing pays tribute to black and white combined through rigorous shapes. This chic trend is also influencing watchmaking, as elegantly illustrated by Tiffany & Co with a cocktail watch that beautifully offsets deep black with the white sparkle of diamonds. Eighty-six round and baguette cut diamonds frame the refined white mother-of-pearl dial. The linear precision is almost mathematical.

Red passion
Red, everywhere, from head to toe… From stilettos to coats via stockings, this winter the color of passion is spilling over onto ladies’ wardrobes and making its way onto wrists with a plethora of watches complete with stylish straps. A single touch is enough to light up the moment and the feminine figure. At Vulcain, the guilloché dial and strap create a harmonious tone-ontone effect. A row of diamonds on the 42mm bezel illuminates this alarm watch featuring colors that give a delightful twist to its design and add a warm touch to winter days. To be paired with matching lipstick and nail polish…

Brilliant in every sense of the term
Between strass, sequins and lame fabrics, fashion is draped in luster. Yet there is nothing bling about this hot trend that Patek Philippe interprets with all the discretion and classicism for which it is renowned. The Ladies’ Annual Calendar is complicated and brilliant in both literal and figurative senses of the term, enhancing its mechanical sophistication with a mother-of-pearl dial whose iridescent beauty reflects the sparkle of a circle of 361 diamonds. Robed in the warmth of pink gold, a moon phase, annual calendar and small seconds make themselves at home on the wrist. Golden, brilliant, and quintessentially elegant.

Animal finery
Tiger, zebra, leopard print, shearling, furs… The animal kingdom is an ongoing staple in feminine wardrobes, interpreted through all manner of colors and guises. In watchmaking, the same wild enthusiasm has taken hold of the passing of time. Harry Winston, having glorified feather art in subtle and sumptuous creations, has now moved on to butterfly wings. The Premier Precious Butterfly Automatic 36mm reveals an amazing miniature canvas consisting of iridescent pigments taken from the wings of the dainty insect. The result is fascinating : captured by Harry Winston, hours and minutes dance with endless grace across a kaleidoscope of bright colors…

Lace and embroidery
Sometimes bohemian and precious, often poetic yet always traditional, embroidery asserts itself in a delicate and transparent manner on timepieces and timepieces. Far from being outdated, the art of embroidery and lacework is a vibrant skills to which Hublot pays tribute. To create the Big Broderie, Hublot worked with Bischhoff, a benchmark firm in the field of 100% Swiss Made embroidery. A skull motif embroidered on tulle was used before being encased and molded in carbon fiber like a stack of sheets. A new and exclusive process for a resolutely haute couture watch.

Montblanc-Heritage Chronométrie Chronograph Quantième Annuel

— Following the success of the launch of the Montblanc Heritage Chronométrie collection at SIHH 2015, the Maison adds two new models to this elegant line.

Montblanc watches adds two new models in its Heritage Chronométrie Collection: a manufacture date complication and a chronograph with annual calendar. The latter features for the first time a new combination with a chronograph associated with an annual calendar that only needs setting once a year at the end of February. Inspired by one of the first chronograph wristwatches created by Minerva in the 1920s, this heritage is reflected in the new model.
Montblanc’s watch designers created a clear and legible dial by keeping all the chronograph- related hands in blue and the hands for the hours, minutes, seconds and calendar functions in plated red gold. The chronograph seconds are indicated with a central blue hand, the elapsed minutes are displayed in a counter at 9 o’clock with sectorial scale, and the hours in a counter at 6 o’clock. For the annual calendar function, the days of the week are on display at 6 o’clock, the date is shown at 12 o’clock and the months are featured at 9 o’clock. The ten hands are operated by the automatic movement calibre MB 25.09, with a 42-hour power reserve, and are easily set thanks to four individual correctors positioned in the middle-piece of the case and operated by a dedicated Montblanc pin that is delivered with the timepiece.

A sophisticated moonphase complication has been included in a counter at 3 o’clock, displaying the four principal cycles of the moon via four individual red gold-plated moons—new moon, first quarter, full moon and last quarter—that are identified with a red gold hand.
The refined and elegant aesthetic of the Montblanc Heritage Chronométrie Chronograph Quantième Annuel follows the collection’s fine watchmaking codes with facetted sword hands, red gold-plated indexes and Arabic numerals in a highly polished 42mm red gold case. The timepiece is fitted with an alligator leather strap crafted by the Montblanc Pelletteria in Florence and, like all the other timepieces in the collection, is tested for 500 hours following the stringent requirements of the Montblanc Laboratory 500 Test.

TAG Heuer Connected Smartwatch with Intel & Google

Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer officially threw its hat into the smartwatch ring today with the launch of the TAG Heuer Connected watch — first announced at this year’s Baselworld — a revolutionary new timepiece developed in cooperation with Intel Corporation and Google and powered by Android Wear technology.
The TAG Heuer Connected Watch was unveiled at a press conference at LVMH Tower (LVMH is the parent company of TAG Heuer), hosted by Jean-Claude Biver, CEO of TAG Heuer & President of the LVMH Group’s Watches Division, accompanied by Brian Krzanich, CEO of Intel Corporation, and David Singleton, VP of Engineering for Android at Google. Bernard Arnault, chairman and CEO of LVMH, was also in attendance, along with an international group of media, including Watches.

 http://www.foreverwatches.me.uk/category/tag-heuer-replica/

TAG Heuer employees offered wrist demos of the watches.
Here are the basics:
The watch — officially dubbed the TAG Heuer Connected Watch with Intel Inside — has a 46-mm-diameter case made from grade 2 titanium, making it lighter and more resistant to impacts than a case made from other traditional watchmaking materials such as steel or gold. It comes on a textured black rubber strap (six other colors – red, blue, white, orange, green and yellow – are available, sold separately) with a deployant buckle also made of grade 2 titanium The watch — which is available for sale at more than 100 TAG Heuer boutiques and 150 carefully selected retailers across the world (including 20 retailers in the United States) as of today, November 9 — is priced at $1,500.

(TAG Heuer’s official product video for the Connected Watch appears below.)
As per Biver’s directive that it “be a connected watch but not look like a connected watch,” TAG Heuer has developed three digital watch dials (or “watch faces”), all of which feature the immediately recognizable design codes of TAG Heuer’s Carrera collection, including the hands, index, counters, date window and minute track. Wearers can choose from a chronograph dial, three-hand dial and GMT dial, all of which display the date and are available in a choice of three colors (black, deep blue or pearl white). Also, unlike smartwatches such as the Apple Watch, the digital hands and indexes remain visible at all times, even when the watch is in ambient energy-saving mode.
The following will be available from the launch date: the chronograph dial, the 3-hand dial and the GMT dial, all of which display the date and are available in a choice of three colors (black, deep blue or pearl white), faithfully reproducing the appearance and functions of a true dial, with shadows under the hands and sunburst effects. TAG Heuer also says that other “watch face” options will be made available in the future, downloadable through the exclusive TAG Heuer app in the Google Play Store.
TAG Heuer worked closely with Intel and Google to create a watch that combined connectivity and computing intelligence with Swiss watchmaking heritage. The watch features an Intel Atom processor Z34XX and runs the Android Wear platform. Intel engineered the intelligence inside the watch to optimize performance and enable a multitude of connectivity options including audio streaming, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, as well as allow users to harness the full range of features offered by the Android Wear operating system.

The TAG Heuer Connected watch — touted by Google’s Singleton as “the world’s smartest luxury watch” — has 4 GB of memory and an all-day battery life thanks to its latest-generation lithium battery. It is equipped with a small microphone to communicate via Google voice control and a sapphire crystal touchscreen complementing the crown at 3 o’clock which houses controls. Another advantage: if you don’t have your smartphone with you, the watch will continue to calculate, display, and exchange data, and as long as you have a Wi-Fi connection it will remain connected to the cloud. Its resident applications (music, timer, alarm, step counter) remain active even when no connection is available.

Thousands of Android applications are already available for the TAG Heuer Connected watch user to download. The key applications, currently used by millions, such as Google Fit, Google Translate, Google Maps and Google Search with your voice are already available on the watch, and show you information at a glance. The watch can also be easily synced with a phone running either on Android 4.3+ or iOS 8.2+. It is charged using a contact charger — simply place the watch on top to recharge it — and carries a two-year warranty, like other TAG Heuer watches.

Finally — and this is where the product’s tagline “connected to eternity” comes in — anyone who purchases a TAG Heuer Connected watch will have the opportunity to exchange it for a mechanical watch with a traditional Swiss-made mechanical movement inside. Which means that at the end of the two-year warranty period, customers can go to a TAG Heuer retailer and exchange the TAG Heuer Connected watch for an exclusively developed mechanical TAG Heuer Carrera watch, similarly designed and also with a grade 2 titanium case. This transaction would cost an additional $1,500.
